Square Inc. named Ford Foundation President Darren Walker to its board, adding an executive who runs one of the largest U.S. philanthropic organizations.
“Darren’s life-long work around economic empowerment and social justice is deeply aligned with Square’s purpose,” Jack Dorsey, the payments company’s chief executive officer, said Tuesday in a statement.
