Cirque du Soleil Founder Prepares Offer to Buy Back In

Three months after selling his remaining shares in Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, founder Guy Laliberte said he’s preparing an offer for the debt-laden company hit by the coronavirus pandemic.

Laliberte said in an interview on Radio Canada late Sunday that he has lined up several people “who can help financially.” He declined to say what kind of stake he was seeking or if it would be for the whole company.
