Quebec abandoned a plan to let children return to school this month in Montreal as dozens of people continue to die every day from Covid-19 in Canada’s second-biggest city.
The reopening of primary schools, initially planned for May 25, will now wait until the start of the school year in late August or early September, Premier Francois Legault said during a press conference in Montreal Thursday.
