Large Canadian retailers are working with mall landlords and the government to find a way to absorb the hit from coronavirus shutdowns, according to the country’s biggest book chain.

“We are working very closely with a group of five of the largest landlords in the country and with government to try and encourage a partnership approach with retailers, landlords and government to help us through this period,” Heather Reisman, chief executive officer of Indigo Books & Music Inc., said in an interview on BNN Bloomberg TV.
