Ontario says coronavirus cases are peaking at much lower levels than initially projected, the latest Canadian province to report success in bending the infection curve.

Health officials said Monday they expect cases to top out at less than 20,000 in the province of 14.7 million people. In a projection released April 3, officials saw between 80,000 and 300,000 cases in their models.
