Turkey’s Coronavirus Cases Up 6.7%, Death Toll Rises to 1,403

Turkey reported 107 new coronavirus fatalities on Tuesday, bringing the death toll from the outbreak to 1,403, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said.

The number of confirmed cases now stands at 65,111, 6.7% higher than Monday, which marks the lowest daily increase since the outbreak began in Turkey. Turkey screened 33,070 people over the past 24 hours with 4,062 testing positive for the virus, the minister said in televised comments.
