Malaysia and Singapore are discussing new terms to let Malaysian citizens in the city-state return to their home country.

Under the current agreement, Malaysians working in neighboring Singapore must get a letter from the city-state certifying that they are free of the coronavirus before returning, Malaysia’s Defense Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said in a press briefing on Monday. There are “tens of thousands” of people seeking to return, he added.
