Compass Says Real Estate Agents Need Government Crisis Funding

Robert Reffkin, founder and chief executive officer of real estate brokerage Compass, is urging U.S. lawmakers to give the industry a slice of the rescue funds to be allocated amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Congress should look out for real estate brokers, many of whom are independent contractors, as it prepares to assist other affected industries and small businesses, Reffkin wrote in a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.
