Carlyle Group Inc. has begun the sale process for PA Consulting Group, which advises companies on everything from strategy to cyber security, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
The buyout firm is working with JPMorgan Chase & Co. and HSBC Holdings Plc on the divestment, the people said, asking not to be identified because the deliberations are private. PA Consulting, which focuses on tech and design services, would prefer another private equity buyer, one of the people said.
