Tesla Tops $500 a Share as Oppenheimer Boosts Target to $612

Tesla Inc. shares surged 4.7% Monday, briefly topping $500 a piece for the first time, after Oppenheimer & Co analyst Colin Rusch raised his target on the stock to $612 from $385. The gains were also helped by news that the Chinese government signaled it wouldn’t continue to cut electric vehicle subsidies at the same rate as last year.
