Lebanon President Tasks Hassan Diab With Forming New Government

Lebanon’s president tapped Hassan Diab, a former education minister, to form a new government that will be tasked with leading the country out of the worst financial and political crisis in years.

President Michel Aoun will meet with Diab to discuss the designation, a spokesman for the presidential palace told reporters.
