Denmark Rules Out Link Between Greenland Independence and Trump

Denmark and the U.S. have not discussed the issue of Greenland independence in the aftermath of President Donald Trump’s offer to buy the world’s largest island, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said.

“The question of Greenlandic independence has not been discussed,” Frederiksen told parliament Tuesday.
