Margrethe Vestager, the European Union’s antitrust chief, is poised to win another five-year term with extra power to set rules for internet giants as a policymaker tasked with making “Europe fit for the digital age.”

She’s expected to ace an interview later on Tuesday by European lawmakers who must approve her to become a vice-president of the European Commission from Nov. 1.
