South Sudan will unveil next month seven oil blocks that will be offered in the next licencing round, according to the state-owned Nile Petroleum Corp.

The concessions will be introduced at an oil and power conference in Cape Town, South Africa, on Oct. 8-10, according to Jacob Dut Chol, director for planning and projects at the company known as Nilepet. He didn’t give details about the location of the blocks and when offers will be made.
