Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said the European Union should be “as flexible and positive as possible” in its negotiations over Brexit, should the U.K. come up with “specific suggestions” on how it intends to leave the bloc with a deal.
“We need to do what we can” to avoid a hard Brexit, Frederiksen told reporters at the prime minister’s residence outside Copenhagen.
