Spain’s Socialists are inching toward the country’s first ever coalition government after a breakthrough in talks over the weekend with their potential partners.

Acting Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez’s party is “convinced” they will finally be able to form a government nearly three months after clinching victory in general election following a breakthrough in talks.
