U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin kept the lines of communication open on Saturday in a bid to reach a deal on the U.S. debt ceiling, and plan to do so again on Sunday morning.
The pair spoke for some 15 minutes around 4:10 p.m. Washington time on Saturday, after talking earlier in the day and on Friday afternoon, according to a Pelosi aide. No further details were provided.
