Djokovic Wins Wimbledon for 16th Grand Slam Singles Title

Novak Djokovic edged a little closer to his biggest rivals on the all-time Grand Slam list after defeating Roger Federer in the longest men’s singles tennis final in Wimbledon history. The Serbian beat the Swiss star 7-6 (5), 1-6, 7-6 (4), 4-6, 13-12 (3) for his fifth title at the All England Club and 16th major championship. He has now won four of the last five Slams, having taken the title in Australia this year and at last year’s U.S. Open and Wimbledon.
