Canada has agreed to pay for the return of 69 container vans of garbage it shipped to the Philippines six years ago after President Rodrigo Duterte threatened to dump it in Canadian waters.
Foreign Secretary Teodoro Locsin said garbage dumped by Australia, South Korea and Hong Kong will be the next ones to go.
