Tens of thousands of Czechs protested to demand the dismissal of the justice minister, who they fear will meddle with courts as the prime minister faces a fraud probe.

About 50,000 people filled Wenceslas Square in central Prague, according to organizers, at the site of anti-communist demonstrations that helped bring down the Iron Curtain three decades ago. Billionaire Premier Andrej Babis condemned the rally, the fourth in as many weeks and the largest against his government since he took power in 2017.
