A Brazilian court has voted to send former President Michel Temer back to prison on corruption charges, local media reported.

In a 2-1 decision on a federal court, judges revoked Temer’s habeas corpus, along with that of long-term associate Joao Baptista Lima Filho. The two were detained on 21 March on charges of corruption, embezzlement, money laundering and conspiracy and released four days later. Lawyers for the former president did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
