Trump Proposes Waivers for Service Academy Athletes to Go Pro

President Trump says his administration will consider granting waivers so that athletes from service academies can play professional sports before fulfilling their armed services obligations.

“I think it’s a great idea. I think it’s really fair, too," Trump said at White House’s Rose Garden, where he presented the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy to the U.S. Army football team.
