It was the best of times for London home owners and it’s slowly turning into the worst of times. Having enjoyed year-on-year gains of 20 percent in 2014, housing in the U.K. capital is now steadily falling for the first time since the financial crisis. In February, values dropped almost 4 percent compared with a year earlier, the most since 2009.
