Brexit-Battered London Homes Are Still Very Expensive

Brexit fear jolted the British housing market last year and nowhere more than in London, where the average home lost 15,000 pounds ($19,000) since the middle of 2017. But London homeowners may struggle to elicit much sympathy. A residence in the capital still costs almost half a million pounds, around 15 times the average U.K. wage, after doubling in value since the financial crisis.
