Saudi Arabia is to end advice warning its citizens against traveling to Lebanon in a major boost for the Mideast country’s embattled economy.
The Saudi ambassador to Beirut, Waleed Al Bukhari, announced the imminent removal of the travel advisory, which was first imposed in 2013. Saudi Arabia renewed it twice, most recently in 2017 following the abrupt resignation of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri while he was in the Saudi capital.
