Three delegations from Iraq have visited Israel in recent months despite the lack of diplomatic relations between the two countries, according to an Israeli media report.
The 15-member delegations consisted of prominent Iraqis, including both Sunni and Shiite religious leaders, Hahadashot television news reported. They visited the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial and met with Israeli officials, professors, and organizations connected with Iraqi Jewry, the report said.
