Condoleezza Rice, the former U.S. secretary of state, puts it diplomatically: She’s an ardent, lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns but isn’t a candidate to coach the NFL team.

Rice took to Facebook to respond to an ESPNBloomberg Terminal report saying that the Browns wanted to interview her for their head coaching job. It’s not far-fetched: Rice is known for her passion for the game, and her bona fides include a stint ending in 2016 as the only woman on the College Football Playoff selection committee.
