Representative Chris Collins, indicted on federal insider-trading charges, won re-election to a fourth term in New York’s 27th district, beating Democrat Nate McMurray, according to projections by ABC and NBC.
Collins ran in a district where President Donald Trump won by the largest margin in the state two years ago, even though it had voted for former President Barack Obama in the two previous elections.
