Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s surprise visit to Oman pried open a door to the Persian Gulf usually shut to Israelis, and several of his cabinet members are following him through.

Miri Regev, minister of culture and sport, paid an official visit Monday to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, the third largest in the world, a day after hearing Israel’s national anthem played at a sports gathering in the emirate.
