Italians Say Negatives of Being in EU Outweigh Positives: Chart

A look at public attitudes among European Union citizens shows that 68 percent of those surveyed say their country has benefited from being a member of the bloc. While across the region, just 24 percent think membership hasn’t been advantageous, that’s the predominant view in Italy, where a euroskeptic government took over earlier this year.
