Facebook Inc. extended its lead as the year’s largest corporate buyer of clean energy after reaching an agreement with a wind farm in Indiana last month, according to Bloomberg NEF. The deal pushed Facebook’s 2018 purchases of clean energy to 1,256 megawatts, over 400 megawatts more than second-placed AT&T Corp. In the past 10 years, Facebook has bought 2 gigawatts of clean energy, trailing only the 3 gigawatts of Alphabet Inc.’s Google.
