Highest proportions of electric-car sales in Europe are in Nordic countries

The Nordic countries stand out in Europe’s market for electric vehicles. Norway, Iceland, Sweden and Finland are the four largest markets by proportion of sales, with the Swedish market growing faster than any other in the second quarter, according to Bloomberg NEF. Still, they’re small markets starting from a low base and Germany, the U.K. and France join Norway as the biggest markets by total sales.
