Sony Pictures’ newest kids’ feature “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation” opened with sales of $44.1 million at U.S. and Canadian theaters, ComScore Inc. said Monday. “Skyscraper,” a new Universal Pictures action movie featuring Dwayne Johnson, opened in third place with $24.9 million.
