Indivior Plc persuaded a federal judge to block sales of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.’s copies of opioid treatment Suboxone film while a patent-infringement lawsuit is pending.
Dr. Reddy’s had received approval in June from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to sell a generic version of Indivior’s market-leading treatment for opioid dependence, but was temporarily blocked from selling the medicine while the judge took a closer look at the legal dispute.
