What Does it Cost to be a Penny-Pinching Millennial?

UBS used a basket of “must-haves” to rank 11 cities around the world based on affordability

A basket of eight “millennial” goods including an iPhone X, avocados and sneakers is least expensive in Hong Kong, followed by Dubai and Bangkok, according to a study of 11 cities around the world. Buenos Aires tops UBS Group AG’s list, chiefly because the Apple product costs an eye-watering $2,244 -- nearly twice the price elsewhere. Zurich, where the Swiss bank is headquartered, is most expensive in five of the categories.
