Charging Stations Keep Pace With Electric-Vehicle Growth

Almost 800,000 public units will be installed worldwide by year-end, according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance

The world’s fleet of electric vehicles will rise by more than a million this year, topping 4 million for the first time. The charging infrastructure is also growing, according to a report by Bloomberg New Energy Finance. At the end of 2017, there were 582,000 public charging outlets globally, more than half of them in China, and BNEF forecasts there will be 755,000 outlets by the end of this year.
