Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said he assessed North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during their meeting ahead of a planned summit with President Donald Trump, and concluded that there’s at least a chance for the U.S. to strike a denuclearization deal.

“My goal was to try and identify if there was a real opportunity there,” Pompeo said during an interview on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday. “I believe there is.”
