Swedish buyout firm EQT Partners AB, which said it’s raised its largest fund ever, will begin investing the pool of money as soon as the second quarter.
“We have one more deal to do from our previous fund and then can we start deploying,” Christian Sinding, the firm’s Zurich-based head of equity, said in an interview. EQT accumulated 10.8 billion euros ($13.3 billion), making the fund the largest it’s ever raised and surpassing its own 8 billion euro target.
