Waymo is asking to postpone its trial against Uber Technologies Inc. scheduled to start Wednesday, saying its adversary hid potentially key evidence in the case.
The Alphabet Inc. unit said Monday it needs more time to prepare for the trade-secrets theft trial after learning Uber withheld information that was brought to the judge’s attention in a letter last week from federal prosecutors.
