Iran-Sanctions Trial Judge Confirms Atilla Is Only Defendant

Turkish banker Mehmet Hakan Atilla will be the only defendant in a U.S. trial over Iranian sanctions violations, the judge overseeing the case told potential jurors. Turkish-Iranian gold trader Reza Zarrab was also scheduled to be tried, but he hasn’t appeared in court for the start of the trial. His absence hasn’t been explained.
