Unknown Gunmen Kill 20 in Northeast Nigeria Towns, Police Say

Gunmen attacked four communities in Nigeria’s northeastern Adamawa state, killing 20 people while others were missing, the police said Wednesday.

The attacks, conducted by suspected farmers, occurred Monday night, police spokesman Othman Abubakar said by phone. A suicide-bomber blew himself up in a mosque in Adamawa state on Tuesday, killing at least 50 people, according to the police.
