Dignity Plc, the U.K.’s largest provider of funeral services and the only one publicly traded, dropped on Monday after the company noted a flattening death rate and increased competition in the third quarter.
U.K. deaths were flat last quarter compared with a 2 percent year-over-year increase in the first half, according to company statements. Deaths in the first quarter had risen 7 percent, Dignity said earlier this year.
