Boeing Co. remains confident that its 737 Max forms the basis of a solid narrow-body strategy, despite Airbus SE’s deal to take control of Bombardier Inc.’s C Series jetliner.
“Recent changes in the marketplace, the discussions between Airbus and Bombardier, don’t change our plans,’’ Boeing Chief Executive Officer Dennis Muilenburg said Wednesday on a conference call with analysts.
