President Donald Trump again criticized NFL players who protest police brutality by kneeling during the national anthem, saying that the league is “going to hell” unless it prohibits the behavior.
“I think the NFL is in a box, I think they’re in a really bad box,” Trump told reporters before departing the White House to deliver a speech on taxes in Indiana. “You look what’s happening with their ratings, frankly, the only thing doing well in the NFL is the pregame because everybody wants to see what’s going on.
