Before the front-firing missiles and tire shredders are installed on James Bond’s next car, Aston Martin has some more mundane work to do.
The iconic automaker’s U.S. unit is recalling 2011-2014 models of its V8 Vantage sports car with seven-speed, auto-shift manual transmission to fix a connector in the clutch fluid line that may break. That could cause leaks that may result in the vehicle becoming stuck in gear and possibly crashing or rolling away, according to a posting Saturday on the website of the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
