Chinese Big Five Tech Companies Gain on U.S. Counterparts
Baidu is only major mainland tech company not at a record high

China’s five biggest technology companies by market capitalization are catching up to their U.S. counterparts. The Chinese firms now have a combined value equal to 30 percent of their U.S. peers, the highest figure in more than 30 months. That’s up from the September 2015 low when the ratio dipped to 21 percent. Baidu Inc., the largest search engine in China, is the only stock of the five to not currently be trading at an all-time high.
