Terry Gou’s fortune has swelled to an all-time high of $7 billion, due in large part to Hon Hai Precision Industry Co.’s 36 percent rally this year. The chairman of Apple’s main iPhone assembler is saidBloomberg Terminal to be set to deliver an upbeat business outlook at the company’s annual general meeting Thursday, propelled by high expectations for a 10th-anniversary edition of the smartphone. Apart from Hon Hai, a swath of the Taiwanese tycoon’s wealth on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index is tied to other holdings such as Japan’s Sharp Corp., which Hon Hai’s parent Foxconn bought into last year and has climbed 56 percent in 2017.
