FTSE Futures Signal Modest Drop for London Open: Chart

U.K. equity futures are showing a lot less conviction than the currency market as the election results trickle in. FTSE 100 Index Futures, at one point almost higher, are down about a quarter of a percent. The pound, however, sank 1.9 percent on prospects the Conservative Party may lose its majority.
