The first 50 or so results from Thursday’s U.K. general election will give a good indication of any shift toward Theresa May’s Conservatives and the majority they can expect — assuming they’re on course for victory at all. A win in Sunderland Central, where the result is due about 11:30 p.m., and she’s set for a landslide with a majority of maybe 200 seats. Failing that, victory in Bury South, scheduled for 2 a.m. Friday, might point to a majority of around 100. The full results are expected Friday.
