World's Heaviest Drinkers Think They May Be Overdoing It: Chart

Lithuania, which topped a World Health Organization ranking of alcohol consumption released this week, is considering measures to control booze sales. Proposals include restricting purchases to a limited number of specialized stores, according to Ramunas Karbauskis, leader of the ruling Farmers and Greens Union. Citizens of the Baltic nation of 3 million people guzzle the equivalent of 18.2 liters of pure alcohol each a year, on average, almost twice the amount Americans consume.
